Monarch Airlines Cheap Flights
Cheap flights are available from many companies but Monarch Airlines cheap flights have the advantage of being one of the UK's
major providers of low-cost scheduled flights from airports at London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Birmingham.
Established in 1968 Monarch Airlines has been dedicated to providing customers with value, quality and a wide variety of
choice. The fleet of aircraft has grown from just two in the early years to over 30 of the world's most modern jet aircraft, Monarch has survived
by responding to changes in the market and giving the customer exactly what they want and need. Each year over six million people fly with
Monarch to over 100 destinations worldwide.
As the demand for faster travel was realised Monarch met this challenge with new Boeing Jet-engine aeroplanes, they were the
first charter airline in the world to order the new Boeing 757. Monarch also realised that many people wanted to travel independently of package
tours and they wanted to book their own flights at flexible and convenient times that suited them and organise their own accommodation. In 2001
Monarch launched its first online booking system that allowed passengers to book flights directly with the airline without the need to speak to a
call centre or book through a travel agent and in 2005 Monarch added the Boeing 767 to the fleet.
Monarch has always been at the front when the introduction of new safety technology is approached. The fleet of Airbus and
Boeing aircraft is one of the most up-to-date in the industry to date they were also the first UK airline to introduce the advanced new Airbus
A330-200 long haul aircraft and the first to achieve the demanding Extended Range Twin-Engine Operations (ETOPS) approval on this aircraft.
Safety as well as value has always been a concern of Monarch who say “Safety considerations will always take precedence over
other aspects of the company's business.
Awareness and diligence by every member of staff is encouraged to ensure maintenance of the required standards. Monarch is
committed to a process of continuous review and improvement of our methods of management, aircraft maintenance and operation. In this way, we
will ensure that the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance are consistently achieved.”
This means that the customer not only gets excellent service and value for money but also can be sure that the company has
their safety at heart.
Monarch Airlines gives the highest priority to the safety of its passengers and are regulated by the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority
(CAA) who issues Monarch their Air Operators Certificate (AOC).
